SATURATING THROUGH MULTIPLYING DISCIPLES & CHURCHES
WE DESIRE TO SEE EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD IN GREATER AUSTIN HAVE REPEATED OPPORTUNITIES TO SEE HEAR AND RESPOND TO THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
Nearly 150 People a Day Move to Austin
that's a new "city" of about 50,000 people every year, all of them looking for jobs, homes, schools, and community.
When they get here, will they find Jesus? Will there be a faith community ready to show them the life, love, and purpose found in the gospel? Simply put: will there be enough churches to reach them all?
THE NEED
Saturate Austin Network exists to catalyze a movement of healthy, reproducing churches that saturate Greater Austin with gospel conversations.
-
Saturate Austin Network is a relational network of gospel-centered, Spirit-empowered churches committed to planting, strengthening, and multiplying healthy congregations across Greater Austin.
What started in 1994 as one church plant has grown into a movement of churches united around a shared conviction: every person in this city deserves repeated chances to hear about Jesus. We're not one church trying to reach a city. We're a network of churches doing it together.
-
We support the movement through five commitments:
Prayer: every part of this starts and stays rooted here
Table: monthly pastor's lunches, annual retreats, real relationships
Coaching & Training: practical equipping through the Saturate Austin Institute and direct coaching for pastors and elder boards
Residency: a clear pipeline for finding, assessing, and training the next generation of planters
Innovation: connection to national leaders shaping the future of church planting and disciple-making
-
We work alongside pastors, elders, and ministry leaders who are pursuing the same call: to lead with humble dependence, personal resilience, courageous faith, genuine compassion, and consistent integrity.
We partner with churches ready to give 1% of their annual budget to the network and set aside at least 2% internally for planting. We come alongside planters ready to be found, assessed, trained, and sent. And we connect with national and citywide partners — like other church-planting networks across the country — doing the same work in their own cities.
CALLED TO PLANT A CHURCH IN THE GREATER AUSTIN AREA?
If God has put a city or a neighborhood on your heart, you don't have to figure this out alone. We help planters get found, get trained, and get sent through coaching, residency, and a network of churches who've done it before.
It takes more than one church. It takes a movement of churches committed to a shared vision, shared doctrine, and the relational and financial investment it takes to plant together. If your church is ready to be part of something bigger, this is your invitation.
